Randy Dunn is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of LPL Financial, Inc. He currently holds FINRA Series 6, 22, 63 and 65 licenses with LPL Financial as well as state insurance licenses.
In 1997 he became an independent Financial Professional specializing in pre and post retirement planning as well as wealth accumulation for individuals and families. By running an independent practice he feels it allows him to make professional investment recommendations based solely on the best interest of his clients.
The majority of his clients are either in or near retirement. After more than 20 years as a financial professional and borrowing from his own personal journey he feels he is uniquely qualified to help pre and post retirees position, accumulate and create ongoing income during their retirement years.
Born and raised in Milwaukie, OR Randy graduated from Rex Putnam High School in 1979. In 1984 he graduated from George Fox Univ. with a Business Admin. degree. After being drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers (same draft class as Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley) and a short tryout where he was told “thanks but no thanks,” he embarked on an insurance career with John Hancock Financial Services. In 1997 he transitioned to the role of independent financial professional and has been happily developing close relationships with his clients ever since.
Randy's free time often revolves around sports as he still enjoys the occasional game of basketball, plays a little tennis and golf and can be found in the fall at Univ. of Oregon football games and in the winter at Portland Trail Blazer basketball games. He enjoys reading, traveling, working in his yard and spending time with his wife, Julie and their two grown sons, Austin and Taylor and daughter-in-law, Nadia.
